Located at the mouth of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, north of the 50th parallel, Sept-Îles is renowned for its deep sea port capable of handling all of the merchandise and materials required for the sprawling iron ore and aluminum industries. The history of Sept-Îles is intimately linked to the rich natural resources of its magnificent territory. First and foremost this cradle of the Innu community has welcomed countless trappers, fishers, as well as forestry and mining compagnies...
